Another good standing today after the FOMC moon-shot… My Shiny portfolio is up 62%, putting me at 8,089th place and in the top 1.6% of game participants.

Woo-hoo! Top 1.4% (5,933rd place) for my “Shiny” portfolio of gold stocks. I have to write that down as I expect it to be my high water mark for this contest.

The rest of the portfolios are absolutely sucking wind despite the rally in the last hour of trading on Friday.

With only two days into the trading contest, I’m starting to think I should have loaded a portfolio with ultra-short ETFs instead of these long-only portfolios.

We’ll see what the next 9 weeks go…
